Global Health II

This course explores advanced global health issues, focusing on methodologies such as the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) metrics. It provides PhD students, health statistics and biometrics graduates, as well as other medical and public health graduate students, with the practical skills needed to address complex health challenges. The course emphasizes the impact of globalization, health inequalities and the governance of health systems. Through case studies and critical discussions, students will explore global health policies, stakeholder roles and sustainable strategies, preparing them to effectively address emerging global health challenges.
